Birds and Bees and Bugs and Fleas

Dale offers the theme “birds and bees and bugs and fleas” for this week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

The first photo is of a bug. The second is also a bug, also known as a grasshopper. The third is a photo of many birds.

  1. Without wishing to be pedantic, the word “bug” is actually a very specific term for insects with sucking mouth parts, which the crane fly in your photo does not have. I know Americans use it generically for insects, but I thought you’d like to know, anyway. ;~}

    Great shot of the grasshopper.
