Autumn Color

Dale offers the theme “autumn color” for this week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

These are some of my favorite images of autumn color.

They were taken in northeastern Illinois.

I no longer live there, but the memories remain. As the season progresses in South Carolina the trees should change color here as well.

  5. It is indeed a beautiful time of year. Our sassafras trees are a brilliant red as are our maple trees and some others a golden yellow. Enjoy it while it lasts for it will be over in a few weeks. Thank you Frank for bringing it to our attention and appreciation, Regards Dan
