Cosmic Photo Challenge: Patterns in Black and White

Dale offers “patterns in black and white” for this week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.

I modified the middle photo in GIMP using Colors > Components > Mono Mixer > Monochrome. I selected the default values.

The other two photos seemed already black and white, at least for the most part.

Although there is a tad of color, this odd chandelier is mostly black and white.
I made sure there was no color in this view of the lake in Pineville, North Carolina.
