Bright Yellow
Miracles are best when one is waiting,
When there is nothing else that one can do,
When harsh despair must look on love deflating,
When something unprepared for passes through.

Linked to dVerse Poetics where the theme is “waiting”. Sarahsouthwest is hosting. Also linked to Debbie Roth’s final Forgiving Fridays and to Trent P. McDonald’s The Weekly Smile. That “something unprepared for” made me smile.

  1. You had me at /something unprepared for passes through/. We’ve all been there. For me, the trouble with miracles is their scarcity .

    When something unprepared for
    passes through.

Most of those caught in throes of waiting would accept it as something unfortunate readily forgiven for a minor human failing

  3. Oh Frank, I love this! I was just thinking this morning how it was time for me to “be” and just allow God to drop in exactly what I need for what’s next. This blog post is a beautiful contribution to my last Forgiving Fridays. Grace is so abundantly present in the words, and in you. 🙂
