I remember falling snow When flakes of white put on a show.
Linked to Cosmic Photo Challenge where Dale offers the theme of “pick a color”. I picked snow white.
Also linked to dVerse Meeting the Bar where I am hosting with the theme of final couplet.
Also linked to Trent P. McDonald’s The Weekly Smile. Looking back on my photos for something with a specific color I recalled these walks through Techny Park in Northbrook, Illinois, in November during the first snowfall. I love taking photos while such a snow is falling. It is peaceful and left me with a smile.

Love this Frank! Nice job.

This makes me think of times I would visit my grandparents in the winter. At their house, we were privileged to have white Christmases!

There has not been any snow this year… so this is a season without winter.

Bbrrrrrrr, that looks cold. Makes me grateful for the nice weather we’re having during this unscheduled time at home.
I really like the sweep of the path (or is it a frozen stream?) cutting through the snow in that first shot.

It was cold. It is the paved path I was walking on as I took the photo. Thank you, Dale!

We had very little snow this year, until last week – we had 8 inches on Monday! It didn’t last long, but… Great photos and poem. I like that bit of color in with the white.

Postcard-perfect photos, Frank. We had one snow storm in January, one in February, and none in March so far. I like to go out when we have snow flurries, and after a snow storm when the fresh snow is still clean and hangs on the tree branches.

I love catching a bit of color on a snowy white day, that’s why I love that first image so much! Nice job with both of them!
