When I do things my own way My deeds stain red like blood. Watchful mercy passes by Avoiding me when I ask why Justice flushes with a flood. Repentance is another choice. Is that what I see? By giving up, by giving in, By turning sharply from within Mercy left a raft for me.

Mercy is a good raft I think

The tulips in your photograph are gorgeous, Frank. There’s a fine line between mercy and justice.

The red blood is so powerful here – I thought of being washed in the blood of the Lamb.

An intriguing way to rock the prompt. Accommodation is the better path sometimes. Following your gut can leave you bloody and clueless.

I love the photo of the red tulips – our tulip festival has been cancelled for this year. Mercy left a raft something to cling to.
