Timothy realized that his most trusted operatives were deceiving him. Did the white hats secure that missing laptop after the blackout? Could he cross the border or would they be waiting for him?
It’s not easy to filter truth from disinformation. Too many were going out of their way to advise him that he was not the target.
He knew better.
Denise offers the word “filter” for this week’s Six Sentence Story. This story continues from Zip – Six Sentence Story. The next chapter is Marvel – Six Sentence Story.

There is this air of suspense yet he seems to have a knowing.

I dare say it is not the first time he has been a target.

It’s a little work sometimes to decipher the difference but in the end, trust your instincts! Sounds as if Timothy is putting his trust in his gut 😀

Timothy’s own instincts are all he seems to have at the moment. Thank you, Denise!

Very suspenseful, well done. And maybe I’m a cynic, but if “too many” are telling you you’re safe–watch your back!

Quantity makes me suspect quality. Or in this case deception. Thank you, Jael!

Ain’t that the whole problem? Filters are surely necessary, but trust (in this filters) are necessary unless one is satisfied with being locked in indecision.
Thought-provoking Six!

If he’s not the “bad guy,” then i do hope he gets away in the end. Good for him for trusting his instincts, too.

I’m not sure if he’s the bad guy or not yet. Thank you!

Filtering the truth from the disinformation seems to be the goal more than ever.
Yes he knew better, but now we are wondering if he followed his hunches.
Great suspenseful SSS.
