Dale offers the theme “close up on nature” for this week’s Cosmic Photo Challenge.
These photos are about as close as I wanted to get to these guys.
The last photo was a close up and focusing on rain drops against a window.

Wow, that spiny spider is amazing, never seen one of those before.
The top one is a crane fly (or “daddy long-legs” over here) and harmless.
I like the clarity of the raindrops, you can easily see the thickness of the glass in that shot

The glass was thick, one of those window doors. The spider is beautiful and is easy to spot in Florida. Thank you, Dale!

It is bizarre. My favorite image of a spider at the moment. Thank you, Michael!

I wouldn’t want to be any closer, Frank. I’ve never seen a spiny orb weaver. I’m ok with that.

First one would cause me no trouble, but please deliver me from seeing that spiney spider on the my side of the glass!

I think they are pretty safe, but then I haven’t bothered any of them. Thank you, Oneta!
