Thinking

Thoughts will echo, bounce and shout
Like whispers haunt a cave,
Like cryptic nonsense thrown about.
I caught some I might save.

If thoughts would knock and say they’re true,
I’d welcome them today,
But does it matter what I do?
They’ve entered anyway.

Birth

Enter into breathing time
Stuff may rise and fall.
It’s not our place to make it stop
Nor can we have it all.

It may not make a lot of sense.
You may wonder why.
Sparkle while you have the chance.
Decades wander by.

Open Your Eyes Even If They Are Already Open

Let gravity do what it does.
Walk the body tall.
Let the eyes explore what’s real.
They want to see it all.

I’ll levitate when I am dead.
My eyes are grateful when
I look about with opened eyes
And then I look again.
