The day turned cold and dark. We went to bed.
Our eyes closed on a starry, winter’s night.
Visitors appeared and we were led
Through lost, forgotten, ancient, truer light.
Their messages grew clear with inner sight.
When morning showed the brightness of fresh snow,
Those secrets we uncovered we let go.

  1. Enjoyed your different approach to “visitors”. And at 30ºC (which is still mild) the beautiful snow pics you have been posting of late.

    1. Thanks, Danik! It has not snowed in Chicago yet, but I look forward to that early warm snow that sticks to trees. The rest of the chill of winter I don’t mind skipping past.

  2. Well written and a compelling piece. The things discovered in dreams forgotten when we awake back to life, winter’s reality.

      1. I think they do Frank more than we realize. I think that’s what they say dreams are often about, our brains working out our problems. And sometimes I believe we succeed more than we realize.
        Cheers 😊
