Black and white with sky cloud-gray
Easter morning starts today.
What bright blooms will brighten Spring?
Love and praise light everything.
Text: The form of the poem is a tanaga or common meter.

You know I’m a sucker for tree silhouettes and these are lovely specimens, thank you.
Nice poem, too, I’ve never heard of a tanaga before.

I just heard of the tanaga recently and so I’ve been trying it out. It is a lot like common meter such as “Twinkle, twinkle little star”. Thanks, Dale!

This is very compelling, Frank. I hope your Spring comes soon.

Your spring will be here in only a few months as well. I like both spring and autumn best. The transitions feel refreshing. Thank you, Robbie!

It looks more like winter, but Easter is a time for hope.

it is still cool, but the days are brighter. Yesterday was a bit overcast and wintry. Thank you, Dan!

Wow. I really like your take on the tanaga poetic form. The tree silhouette is the perfect accompaniment. Well done!
