I’m tempted: Was it just a dream? Perhaps it was what’s real? Reminded things aren’t as they seem, But how it lingers still.

LOVE these images! For me they illustrate the haziness of a dream after we awaken…and sometimes they don’t come back to us for several hours and they are hazy recollections….real? Not real? Dreamed? Imagined? Seen some other time? The mist in the illustrations is perfect for that hazy recollection we have! Well done!

Thank you, Lillian! Sometimes it is hard to see clearly through the fog.

For me, the only dreams that linger are the really unsettling ones, Frank. The ones I want to remember just vanish.

I have had dreams like that. There’s that old question as well – are you a man dreaming of being a butterfly, or a butterfly dreaming of being a man?

Yes, it is like that. Thank you, Sarah!

You’re right Frank, it doesn’t matter if it was a dream or if it was real, its residue remains.

The feeling often lingers, even if it all seems misty. Wonderful photo, too.

Dreams that linger are generally the ones that create anxiety for me. Peaceful ones generally go away peacefully 🙂
Loved the poem Frank.

This is an excellent observation, Frank. When our lives so often manifest themselves into our dreams, why shouldn’t our dreams return the favor?

There is a thin line between dreams and reality and only the dreamer really knows. I love the photos they have a mystical feel as if entering a dream.
