I just watered the plants and those geese, those many geese, look well fed and merry.

Diaphanous

When veils are down then we may meet
The overlying mystery
Unless we’re busy frantically
Ignoring what was there to see.

Plastic Fantastic

I figured I best take a lid,
Fantastic plastic white.
The plant is real. The pot is not.
The coffee’s real enough and hot.
The day spins with delight.

Turning round from flight
From cold wintry blight,
We stay.
Colorful and bright
Rainbows raise out sight,
Display
Gardens growing right
Where there once was night
Today.

For the Love of Light

 
Up and down, round and round,
See the wonders on the ground,
Soaring beauty full of sky,
Full of gratitude and I
Will praise the truthfulness of light
Seeking dawn through darker night
When evening coolness hints of love
Up and down, beyond above.

Rebirth and Remembrance

 
The morning Sun begins to rise
As dawn rebirths the light.
Those colors I remember well.
They leave the dark with night.

When I awake I sense surprise -
Another day to see,
Another chance to get it right
Or not if that should be.
