If you could see and reach the heart that hides in me
The sun may shine or not for all I’d care
Then with you we could search the sky for love
And by that know the truth of what is real out there.

The hot afternoon brought a sinister cloud extending across the western horizon that painted the sky behind it dark. From the distance of our heroes on Earth they could not estimate its speed, but they knew it would be upon them at any moment.
“That is the largest alien vessel I have ever seen! It covers the sky.”
“It’s a storm cloud. We need to reach shelter before the downpour.”
“It’s part of the rebellion to liberate the universe from the evil empire. They want our planet as a base of operations.”
“I hope not.”
Then the aliens landed.

Turning night to lighten days
Turning right the ways gone wrong
Turning on the songs of praise.

Through fresher eyes I realize
I’ve wandered with the blind.
The trees in morning sunrise
Stand tall to smile in rain.
The waters show from down below
Spring calm will come again.

Helps me to forgive
And His mercy moving toward
Us helps us both to live.

In spite of everything I knew,
